Why reimagine BGCSM?

Over time, businesses must evolve to meet the changing needs of their customers. Since 1926, BGCSM has been the premier youth service provider in Southeastern Michigan. In order to thrive for the next 93 years, we must reimagine our model to meet the needs of today's youth and their surrounding communities.

What are desired outcomes for Reimagine BGCSM?

Our goal is to develop a world-class experience, anchored by our legacy of providing a safe, fun place that inspires, while offering programs that provide real-world learning from caring adult mentors.

What is a change agent?

BGCSM wants to empower our members to take control of their future by recognizing the power within them to change and overcome obstacles in their lives.

A change agent is an individual who promotes and enables change to happen within any group or organization while demonstrating the following:

  • Focus and Resilience
  • Courage and Passion
  • Strategy and Intention
  • Creativity and Excellence

What is the Reimagining process?

Our inclusive design process empowers Club members, parents, partners, and community leaders whose ideas will directly guide our strategic priorities, facility design, and program offerings.
